Featured Artist Schedule

June -  "You are Here: Local Images,"  an exhibit of unique and inspired images by the 16 artists of the Bridge Gallery.  The exhibit will feature images of Newburyport and the surrounding communities rendered in oil, acrylic, water color, pastel and photography.  The public is invited to a reception for this exhibit on Saturday, June 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  Refreshments will be served.

July -  The Bridge Gallery celebrates four years in Newburyport!    Our June exhibit of local images by Bridge Gallery artists continues into July.  The public is invited to a gala birthday celebration with live jazz and refreshments on Saturday, July 10th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.  Birthday cake will be served.

August -  "Summer Visions"  Our August special exhibit features Bridge Gallery artists Barbara Burns and Danielle Gauthier McCarthy.   Both artists bring their delightful perspective and artistic talent to life via oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor.  Capturing the ambiance and mood of landscapes and seascapes, still lifes and portraits, their use of vibrant color, shadow and reflection creates visual excitement in each piece.  The public is invited to meet both artists on Saturday, August 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  Refreshments will be served.

Newburyport Artwalk

The Bridge Gallery, along with other Newburyport art galleries, provides live music and refreshments from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on the following Saturdays in 2010:

• April 10,
• June 26, 
• August 21, and 
• October 23.
